5.)   There will be an evening concert performance by the master musicians that will be open to the community and students for a nominal fee. The concert will culminate with a jam session involving the master musicians and select student musicians. The clinics themselves will also be open to students from non-participating schools for observation. In that way, students whose schools in the region do not have organized jazz bands can still benefit from the experience.


Abraham Laboriel, Ernie Watts, Lew Soloff, and Harry Blazer comprise the core group of master musicians that will be participating in the Walking in Beauty Festivals.

WIB has funding pledged thus far that will allow it to sponsor two festivals per year for the next four years. It hopes to raise enough funds to sponsor 10 festivals per year in Montana and the Northwest.
